This used to be the best way to explore games, but it went way downhill. It's clear it's just as manipulated as the regular app store, the scores given are questionable at best, and worst of all the app crashes every time you click a game to see it on the Play store and you lose your place in your browsing! At least save where we were when we crash, goodness.

UPDATE 15/4: Good news! The crash bug has now been fixed :) It was an issue on some Samsung devices, but it's all gone now. As for the scores, they've followed the same guidelines since 2020, and I still thoroughly edit each review. Keeps freezing (blank screen) when I leave it to switch between the Play Store and it, which is probably a pretty common scenario (search for games, find something you want to check out and go to the Play Store). The app works well for searching, but this bug is definitely inconvenient for my intended use (discover a new game, go to download the game and then try to search for more).

I love this app, but since the redesign probably my biggest issue is on the game review pages, there is no average score listed anywhere. The average score is only shown on the Discover and Browse lists, but if you get a new review notification and tap that to take you straight to the review, you have no way to see the score unless you do the math yourself. The score should be right at the top, or at least at the bottom below the individual criteria scores.

Hi Brent, I'm glad you love the app :) It was actually a deliberate choice to de-emphasize the average score on game pages because it's the 4 individual score parameters that properly describe how good a game is. This update fixes the blank screen bug some users have experienced and greatly improves the performance of the MiniReview app.
